As James Cameron’s escape from the oppressive summer heat of Washington D.C., the mansion was expanded to accommodate the entourage needed to host President U. S. Grant as fares of state were discussed in the bucolic atmosphere of the Cameron’s estate, Donegal.

With seven children, this large room allowed the children to play out of site to ensure the children were only seen and not heard.

Created during the Cameron expansion over a century ago, this spacious third-floor room offers two queen beds – perfect for friends traveling together. Features include a private bath with tub/shower, a comfortable sitting area, and commanding views west of rural Pennsylvania sunsets.
